Technical Specifications and New Features:
- Audio Technology: The earbuds use a custom high-excursion Apple driver and a custom high dynamic range amplifier. They deliver the world’s best in-ear Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which is twice as effective as the previous generation, removing up to 4 times more noise than the original AirPods Pro. Adaptive EQ and Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking create a rich, immersive sound experience with studio-quality audio recording. The new multiport acoustic architecture precisely controls airflow for wider soundstage and clearer vocals.
- Design: Redesigned for better in-ear fit and stability, the AirPods Pro 3 include five sizes of foam-infused ear tips for improved passive noise isolation. The earbuds are smaller, with the ear tip aligned closer to the body for more secure fit during activities like running and workouts.

- Health and Fitness: AirPods Pro 3 feature Apple’s smallest custom heart rate sensor, which uses pulsed infrared light 256 times per second to measure blood flow during workouts. In combination with accelerometers, gyroscope, GPS, and on-device AI, they track over 50 workout types, monitor heart rate, calories burned, and help close Move rings. Fitness app integration offers a “Workout Buddy” experience.
- Controls: Enhanced touch controls include press and swipe gestures to play/pause, skip, adjust volume, answer calls, mute/unmute, and switch listening modes. Siri support is included for voice commands.
