India to Launch Digital Aadhaar App by End of 2025: Secure, Easy Updates & QR Code Verification

• Launch Timeline: The app is expected to be launched by December 2025, with UIDAI confirming extensive testing and readiness for a full rollout by the year-end.
• Digital Updates from Home: Users will be able to update their Aadhaar details like name, address, date of birth, and mobile phone number directly from their smartphones without visiting Aadhaar Seva Kendras. This vastly reduces waiting times and logistical challenges, especially for rural populations.
